Abby Doubell works with children, teens, adults, and families, helping them overcome trauma, anxiety, attachment issues, and relational challenges. Her areas of focus include person-centered therapy, evidenced-based neuro-experiential modalities, trauma healing, and addressing maladaptive relational patterns. Abby has a special passion for working with "Deeply Feeling Kids" (DFK), advocating for tailored parenting approaches to meet the unique needs of empathetic children. Within this sensitive realm lies a profound opportunity for both personal growth and strengthened familial bonds. She also supports deeply feeling teens and adults in their journeys of healing, growth, and self-discovery.

Abby believes in celebrating each individual’s uniqueness and complexity. She provides a safe space where clients can explore their experiences, create personalized therapeutic goals, and work towards transformative change. Her therapeutic work is rooted in the belief that individuals can heal by rewiring their brains to address deeply entrenched trauma and attachment wounds.

Abby received a Master of Science in Mental Health Psychology from the University of Liverpool and a BPSYCH Equivalent Honors degree in South Africa. She completed her clinical training at the Schizophrenic and Bipolar Association of South Africa and Epworth Children’s Village for traumatized and abused children. She now serves clients in Roswell, bringing a wealth of experience to her practice. She is a pre-licensed counselor under direction and supervision working toward a license in Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Outside of her counseling work, Abby enjoys spending time with her family and children, reading, and exploring the joys of motherhood and life’s everyday chaos with a cup of coffee in hand.
