Ansley Brague offers a compassionate, engaging, and developmentally attuned space for children, teens, emerging and young adults, and parents navigating life’s transitions and emotional challenges. She is especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, high achievers, and those experiencing high-functioning anxiety, perfectionism, social anxiety, and self-esteem concerns. Ansley also enjoys working with clients navigating dating and relationship challenges, identity development, and major life transitions such as the shift from high school to college, early adulthood, and “adulting.”
Ansley takes a relational, trauma-informed approach, helping clients build emotional insight, confidence, and resilience while learning practical tools to manage anxiety, navigate relationships, and feel more secure in themselves. She works thoughtfully with children and teens experiencing emotional dysregulation, anger, peer challenges, and the impact of trauma, while also supporting parents in better understanding their child’s emotional world and developmental needs.
Trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Ansley integrates evidence-based, strengths-based interventions into her work. She is also skilled in play-based and expressive arts therapy, offering creative and age-appropriate ways for children and adolescents to process emotions, tell their stories, and grow in self-awareness.
Before joining Atlanta Wellness Collective, Ansley worked as a school counselor, giving her a deep understanding of school systems and the academic, social, and emotional pressures students and families face. This background allows her to effectively support parents in navigating school-related concerns, advocating for their child, and strengthening family connection. When appropriate, Ansley welcomes the integration of faith and spirituality into the counseling process, honoring the role of personal values in healing and growth.
A proud Marietta native and UGA “Triple Dawg,” Ansley earned her Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Education, and Education Specialist degree in Professional School Counseling from the University of Georgia. She is licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor under direction and supervision. Ansley enjoys spending time outdoors, reading a good book, and gathering with friends and family, especially around the dinner table with something sweet to share.
A note from Ansley —
Pursuing counseling (especially for the first time) can feel intimidating. My hope is to offer a supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward the abundant life that is available to you.
