Colin Morris believes that even in the hardest moments, growth and healing are possible. She is known for her calm, steady presence and ability to walk with clients through anxiety, overwhelm, and seasons of change or uncertainty. Colin enjoys working with men, women, teens, and parents who are doing their best to keep up with life, but underneath feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of what to do next. Many of Colin’s clients are in seasons of significant change, facing the stress of everyday life and bigger questions about relationships, identity, and the future. Colin also works with couples to make sense of the cycles they keep falling into and learn new ways of relating that feel more honest and connected. She is a certified SYMBIS facilitator for premarital counseling.
Colin’s approach is steady, practical, and grounded. She offers a space to slow down and make sense of what feels overwhelming, so that moving forward begins to feel clearer and more manageable. She is especially drawn to helping clients navigate anxiety and relationship stress, as well as the kinds of life changes that bring up the question, “What now?”
Colin and her husband have been married for 31 years and have three adult kids. She grew up in Marietta and is a Mount Paran Christian School alumnus. She has lived in Cherokee County for the last 27 years, where she enjoys traveling, British reality shows, and sharing TikToks with her adult kids.
At Atlanta Wellness Collective, our Counseling Interns are closely supervised by an in-house Clinical Supervisor, which means that you benefit from having multiple counselors whose time and expertise are applied to working with you. Colin is enrolled at Liberty University earning a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is currently under the supervision of Nicole Thaxton, PhD, LPC, CPCS. Counseling Interns also offer counseling sessions at a significantly reduced rate.
A note from Colin —
I believe even in the middle of uncertainty, there is room for clarity and growth. My role is to offer a supportive space where you can make sense of what you are carrying and begin to move forward. I believe people don’t need more pressure. They need a space to feel understood. From there, real change can begin in a way that feels natural and lasting.
