Dr. Danielle Dunkley (she/her) enjoys helping her clients set personalized goals for a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, identity issues, relationship issues, and grief or loss. She often works with clients who hold systemically marginalized identities and who have experienced personal or intergenerational trauma.
Dr. Danielle understands the interconnectedness of one’s mind, body, spirit, and community. She approaches her clients with integrative care and has a genuine mission to serve those looking for healing and growth, supporting them by creating an affirming space. Dr. Danielle operates from a humanistic constructivist understanding, whereby each person has the capacity to grow in a uniquely beautiful way.
Dr. Danielle grew up in New York City and calls Cobb County home. She received both a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in Atlanta. She’s a graduate of Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Pre-medicine. She is board certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Danielle works as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Agnes Scott College in Decatur.
Dr. Danielle enjoys hiking with family, listening to podcasts, and engaging in art.
