Jazlyn (Jaz) Bain is a quirky, direct, and deeply empathetic therapist who values authenticity, connection, and meaningful change. She believes that there is no “right” way to be and works intentionally to help clients feel seen as whole, capable individuals—not broken, “too much,” or defined by their past experiences. Her approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and blends practical tools with deeper healing work to support lasting growth.
Specifically, Jazlyn enjoys working with teens (10+) and adults navigating trauma, emotional overwhelm, executive functioning challenges, and the pressures of high achievement without the constant weight of perfectionism. She also has experience supporting parents as they learn to understand their child’s emotions while reinforcing positive behaviors and setting clear, compassionate boundaries.
Having worked as a therapist within intensive in-home, partial hospitalization, and outpatient therapy settings, Jazlyn offers DBT-informed and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy in a trauma-informed, supportive setting. Together, Jazlyn and her clients focus on building insight, flexibility, and strategies that foster confidence and sustainable change.
Jazlyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia. Originally from Virginia, Jazlyn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Outside of therapy, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and seeking out great food.
A note from Jazlyn —
I believe everyone is doing their best to navigate life, even when it doesn’t feel that way. My hope is that our work together feels honest, grounding, and human. You don’t have to have it all figured out; we’ll take things one step at a time, together.
