Kim Ostrander is known for working with individuals, couples, and families desiring stronger and healthier relationships. Her areas of focus include pre-engagement, engagement, marital distress, parenting, anxiety and depression, grief, PTSD, trauma, EMDR, life transitions, and women’s issues. She’s certified as a “Prepare & Enrich” premarital counseling facilitator and includes this structure as a helpful tool when working with couples. Kim also has specific, advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), providing an evidenced-based framework to help individuals experience healing from traumatic events.

In addition to practicing at Atlanta Wellness Collective, Kim enjoys spending time with family and friends, including her three grand-babies, hiking, gardening, and cooking. She is a wife to Barry and mom to three adult children.

Kim is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and board-certified through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). She is a clinical supervisor at Atlanta Wellness Collective and received a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta. She also received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas in Dallas, Texas and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University.
