Whether you’re looking for counseling for your child, yourself, or your family, Rebekah Brooks works closely and compassionately with her clients to better understand their unique needs and experiences, providing tailored treatment plans and care for each client. Rebekah works with children (ages 4+), teens, adults, and families to help create a safe and empathetic environment where you will feel encouraged to heal, learn, and grow. Specifically, Rebekah has a passion for working with high achieving individuals and families as they no longer allow anxiety, perfectionism, past traumas, and difficult life experiences to define them or their identity.
In addition to working with individuals, Rebekah cares deeply about healthy families and is passionate about helping your family grow in genuine connection with one another while improving your relationships overall. Whether she is working with a child or teen, parents for parent coaching, or family therapy, Rebekah believes that while our wounds are often inflicted in relationships, it’s also in relationship that we find healing and transformation. The counseling relationship can provide this safe support. When appropriate, Rebekah enjoys working with clients who wish to incorporate their faith into counseling.
Rebekah enjoys being active by running, hiking, and biking. You can often find her outside in her garden, somewhere in the mountains, or around the water with her family. She is currently completing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care at Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta.
At Atlanta Wellness Collective, our Counseling Interns are closely supervised by an in-house Clinical Supervisor, which means that you benefit from having multiple counselors whose time and expertise are applied to working with you. Rebekah is currently under the supervision of Jonathan Smith, MA, LPC. Counseling Interns also offer counseling sessions at a significantly reduced rate.
A note from Rebekah —
I strive to create a safe and healing space for you and your family in the counseling room. The most important work we can do for those around us is the work within ourselves. I hope to walk alongside you on this brave journey and provide you support for body, mind, relationships, and spirit.
